At Mountain View Baptist Church, we not only have a great view but a great VISION! 

• A Vision of Purpose- Our Church is built on one unshakable foundation--the reality of Jesus Christ.  From this foundation comes the simple, two-fold purpose that guides our church: To know Christ and to make Him known
  

• A Vision of Worship- Worship at our church is a celebration! The minute you walk in the door, you feel the excitement and anticipation, a sense of belonging and welcome.  The music is powerful and dynamic.  you are not a spectator, observing a service conducted by others.  Instead, you are intimately involved in a song of praise for an audience of one.
  

• A Vision of Scripture- We believe the Bible is the Living Word of God.  It is a gift from God, containing those principles He has created so that we may have life.  In studying God's Word, we are not seeking knowledge for its own sake, but rather a vital, practical wisdom we can apply to our daily lives.
  

• A Vision of Grace- At our church, life's most important lesson is revealed; God loves me unconditionally.  His grace is boundless; His love is always forgiving.  He has a gift to give to all of us. Open your heart; accept it, and your life will change forever; you will experience a freedom that was before unimaginable.
  

• A Vision of Promise- All of us need hope.  Because the really important work we do in this world is never finished.  The full influence of our lives will only be completely known by future generations.
  

We also believe that every ministry opportunity and every event must fall under these core values:

• Look In- Equipping those attending for every day life!  As a church we must equip our members through biblical teaching, training activities and fellowship.
  

• Look Out- People matter to God and therefore they matter to us!  We will strive to meet the needs of those in our community.  We desire to be known as a place that cares, loves and serves.
  

• Look Up- Worship is not only what we say or sing, worship is what we do! It's a time where, above all else, in all circumstances, whatever is happening in our lives, we connect with God.  It enables our hearts to be open to receive all that God may have for us.
  

• Look Beyond- Doing whatever it takes to reach people for Christ.  As we accept the challenge of Jesus to be witnesses in "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the end of the earth" reaching people across the streed or across the world!
